The Basil Miles Tarpaulin trunkbag is a black bag for real sports enthusiasts. Are you going on a cycling vacation or just out for the day? Then this carrier bag is for you! Made of strong, waterproof tarpaulin, it’s incredibly multifunctional. The bag is black in colour but has sporty orange details. In addition to attaching to your carrier, you can wear the bag comfortably over your shoulder. It also has a removable shoulder strap and convenient handles. The bag has a total capacity of 7 liters, divided over several inner compartments. Some compartments are padded, so you can carry fragile items like a camera or phone and know they’re protected. On top of the bag, you’ll find an extra pocket where you can store a water bottle or a compact raincoat, for example. Thanks to the taped seams and the roll closure, the bag is waterproof (IPX 3), so there won’t be a drop of rain with the contents of your bag. The flap of the bag closes with a zipper.

The Trunkbag can be easily attached to your bike thanks to the pre-assembled MIK adapter plate, which is equipped with a convenient locking feature for added safety. With this adapter plate, you can easily click the basket into your luggage carrier with MIK profiles or a MIK luggage carrier plate. If you’d like to take the baf into the office or a shop, you can just as easily click the bag off again.

Bike & Ride for Standard Bikes

For standard bikes, our ‘Bike & Ride’ service ensures that each bike undergoes meticulous assembly and rigorous quality checks by our expert bike builders. To facilitate this thorough process, bicycles are not eligible for next-day delivery, ensuring each bike is perfectly prepared for you.

Bike & Ride for E-Bikes

Due to the additional weight and unique handling needs of electric bikes, we cannot ship them fully assembled. Instead, our expert mechanics will assemble, configure, and thoroughly inspect your electric bike before repacking it in its original box. This process requires the removal of the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat-post, which you will need to reinstall upon delivery. We provide detailed instructions and all necessary tools to help you complete the assembly quickly and effortlessly.
